In terms of cuisine, you'd find a variety of tasty non-veg meals of various kinds. But if you're one of those people looking for vegetarian meals, you'd face some hardship.

Mostly you'll be served rice, dal, and maybe some veggies when it comes to vegetarian food, and that's not with Sikkim but most of the northeast.

Day 1
Arrival at Bagdogra International Airport and Road Trip to Gangtok
    •After landing at Bagdogra International Airport in Siliguri at your scheduled arrival time, we'll facilitate a pickup via a private vehicle,
  • •Moving forward, we'll head toward Gangtok, which is approximately 05 hours away from the airport.
  • •Upon reaching, we'll check in to our accommodation, freshen up, and relax.
  • •The rest of the day is for leisure and relaxation. You're recommended to visit the local market, try local cuisine, hop to cafes, and do activities of your choice.
  • •When you've explored enough for the day, come back to your accommodation and freshen up.
  • •Soon afterward, we'll head to bed and end our day at our accommodation in Gangtok.
Day 2
Tsongmo lake, Baba Mandir, Nathu La Pass, and the Indo-China Border
    •Hot breakfast will be served early in the morning.
  • •After our meal, we'll head out for the day and start our exploration journey.
  • •During the day, we'll cover numerous sightseeing locations, namely Tsomgo lake, Baba Mandir, Nathu La Pass (Charged Separately), and the Indo-China Border.
  • •After we've ticked off every item on our itinerary for the day, we'll start our journey back to Gangtok.
  • •Upon reaching our destination, we'll freshen up and relax.
  • •We'll end the day shortly by peacefully dozing off in our accommodation at Gangtok.
  • •Please note that if Nathula Pass is closed for any reason, an alternate sightseeing destination will be added to the itinerary.
Day 3
Road Trip From Gangtok to Pelling and Exploring Chardham Temple
    •We'll start the day with a hearty breakfast meal.
  • •Soon after breakfast, we'll pack up and check out from our accommodation in Gangtok.
  • •Moving forward, we'll head out for Pelling, about 05 hours away from our starting point.
  • •En route, we'll explore the Chardham Temple of North East in Namchi, which falls midway through our journey.
  • •Upon reaching our destination, we'll check into our accommodation, freshen up, and relax.
  • •The rest of the day is for leisure and relaxation. You're recommended to visit the local market, try local cuisine, hop to cafes, and do activities of your choice.
  • •When you've explored enough for the day, come back to your accommodation and freshen up.
  • •Soon afterward, we'll end the day by tugging ourselves into bed in our accommodation at Pelling.
Day 4
Rabdentse Ruins, Rimbi Waterfalls and Rock Garden, Khecheopalri Lake and Monastery
    •Hot breakfast will be served early in the morning.
  • •After our meal, we'll head out for the day and start our exploration journey.
  • •During the day, we'll cover numerous sightseeing locations, namely Rimbi Waterfalls, Rimbi Rock Garden, Khecheopalri Lake, Kechopalri Monastery, and Rabdentse Ruins.
  • •After we've ticked off every item on our itinerary for the day, we'll start our journey back to our accommodation.
  • •Upon reaching our destination, we'll freshen up and relax.
  • •We'll end the day shortly by peacefully dozing off in our accommodation at Pelling.
Day 5
Road Trip From Pelling to Darjeeling
    •We'll start the day with a hearty breakfast meal.
  • •Soon after breakfast, we'll pack up and check out from our accommodation in Pelling.
  • •Moving forward, we'll head out for a wonderful road trip experience from Pelling to Darjeeling, which is approximately 04 hours away.
  • •Upon reaching our destination, we'll check into our accommodation, freshen up, and relax.
  • •The rest of the day is for leisure and relaxation. You're recommended to visit the local market, try local cuisine, hop to cafes, and do activities of your choice.
  • •When you've explored enough for the day, come back to your accommodation and freshen up.
  • •Soon afterward, we'll end the day by tugging ourselves into bed in our accommodation at Darjeeling.
Day 6
Watching the Sunrise at Tiger Hill and Darjeeling Sightseeing Day
    •We'll start the day around 05 AM and head straight towards Tiger Hill to watch the rising sun over the Kanchenjunga Peak.
  • •We'll explore Ghoom Monastery, Peace Memorial, and Batasia Loop on our journey back.
  • •Upon returning to our accommodation, a hot breakfast will be ready to gobble upon.
  • •After our meal, we'll head out again and start the second round of our exploration journey for the day.
  • •We'll cover numerous sightseeing locations, namely Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Ropeway, Tenjin, and Gumpo Rock.
  • •After we've ticked off every item on our itinerary for the day, we'll start our journey back to our accommodation.
  • •Upon reaching our destination, we'll freshen up and relax.
  • •We'll end the day shortly by peacefully dozing off in our accommodation at Darjeeling.
Day 7
Dropping at Bagdogra International Airport and Bidding Goodbye to Sikkim
    •An early breakfast will be served in the morning, and you're advised to pack your belongings as we'll be leaving soon.
  • •Soon after, we'll check out from the accommodation and head towards Bagdogra International Airport in Siliguri, which will take approximately 03 hours to reach from Darjeeling.
  • •We'll finally drop you off at the Airport, and you'll head back to your hometown with a bag full of sweet memories to cherish.
  • •This will mark the end of the tour.

  • Optional Activities Activities such as Cable Car Ride, Sky Walk and anything not exclusively mentioned in the inclusions are not included in the package.
  • Lunch & Dinner Lunch And Dinner are not covered due to the unpredictability of timing and location during lunch and dinner hours.
  • Tour Guide This tour does not require to be headed by a tour guide or captain. Hence, it's not included in the package.
  • Flight Tickets Flight tickets are not included and can be booked separately upon request from the individuals.
  • Calamity Expenses Any expense arising from an act of god, natural calamity, or emergency is not accounted for in this package and would have to be paid separately.
  • GST and Service Charge GST (5%) and Service Charge for Online Payment Portal, Razorpay (2.5%) are not included in the price.

Is Sikkim Safe For Honeymoon, Solo, and Family Tourists?
    Sikkim is relatively safe, and the crime rate is almost negligible here. On top of that, being a significant tourist attraction, you'd find people behaving courteously to tourists as it's a significant source of their revenue.
What Are The Guidelines For Foreign Travellers Visiting Sikkim?
    If you're a foreigner travelling to Sikkim, you'd require an Indian Visa, and you can go up until Gangtok and areas which fall in a neutral zone and not touching borders or sensitive lands.

    There are two potential routes; the railways, roadways, or airways. Airways is the best route; you'll need to book a flight from your hometown airport to Bagdogra International Airport. For booking a train ride, the nearest railway station would be Jalpaiguri (187 km) or Siliguri (146 km), whichever you prefer.
Will There Be a Cellular Network and Internet In All Regions of Sikkim?
    The cellular network works fine in Sikkim, and you'd get calling services throughout the state except for very remote areas and hilltops. The internet is comparatively faster in the city and gets slower as you move away; there are some zones when internet connectivity is terrible, but you'd still get to make calls, and that's a plus on the network front.
Will I Get Vegetarian Food, and What Does Food Generally Cost Here?
    It's hard to find good vegetarian food in all North East States, including Sikkim.   • •Daypack: A small 20-liter backpack for carrying personal items during the day journeys to sightseeing places.

Cancellation Policy

    •Suppose the customer cancels the tour with more than 30 days remaining on the departure date and has paid the whole amount for the tour. In that case, the total amount of the tour will be refunded after making a deduction of 10% from the total sum disbursed, including GST.
  • •Suppose the customer cancels the tour with 30 days to 15 days remaining on the departure date and has paid the whole amount for the tour. In that case, the total amount of the tour will be refunded after making a deduction of 25% from the total sum disbursed, including GST.
  • •Suppose the customer cancels the tour with 14 days to 07 days remaining on the departure date and has paid the whole amount for the tour. In that case, the total amount of the tour will be refunded after making a deduction of 60% from the total sum disbursed, including GST.
  • •Suppose the customer cancels the tour with 07 days remaining on the departure date and has paid the whole amount for the tour. There will be no refunds generated.
  • •If the customer has only paid the booking amount and there's a remaining payment on their part, the final booking will be on hold. Under these circumstances, Sand and Peaks reserve the right to cancel the booking without generating any refunds if the customer fails to pay the total amount.
  • •If the tour is cancelled for any reason, there's no fault of the client. In that case, Sand and Peaks will be liable to pay back the total amount, which the client has disbursed till the date of cancellation.
  • •No refunds will be generated if the customer fails to show up or arrives at the departure point at the scheduled date and time.

Required Documents

    •You are requested to keep your Aadhaar Card (All Individuals) for identification purposes at various places such as airports, hotel check-ins and more.
  • •Covid Vaccinations certificates are not necessary as of now, but you should still have them in your possession in case the need arises.
  • •Essential documents such as passports, Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Wallets, Flight Tickets and any other key documents should be kept in close proximity and not be left in hotel rooms or anywhere else at all times throughout the tour.
