Tour Plan - Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival In Manali and Local Sightseeing
    • Upon reaching the Manali Bus Stand, at your scheduled arrival time, we'll facilitate a pickup via a private vehicle.
  • • Moving forward, we'll head towards our hotel accommodation, which is approximately 30 minutes from the pickup point.
  • • Upon reaching, we'll check in to our accommodation, freshen up, and relax.
  • • During the rest of the day, we'll head out for a sightseeing tour of all the nearby famous places, including Hadimba Devi Temple, Van Vihar, Tibetan Monastery, Clubhouse, Mall Road and many more.
  • • After having a fun exploration day, we'll return to our accommodation and freshen up.
  • • Soon afterward, we'll end the day by napping peacefully in our accommodation at Manali.
Day 2
Solang Valley, Sissu Waterfall, and Atal Tunnel With Optional Snow Activities
    • Hot breakfast will be served early in the morning.
  • • After our meal, we'll head out for the day and start our exploration journey and head towards Solang Valley via the famous Atal Tunnel.
  • • During the day, we'll cover numerous activities (optional and paid separately) namely Paragliding, Zorbing, Snow scooters, Ropeway & Snow Skiing and more.
  • • The second destination for the day will be Sissu village, which hosts the magnificent Sissu waterfall.
  • • After we've ticked off every item on our itinerary for the day, we'll start our journey back to our accommodation.
  • • Upon reaching our destination, we'll freshen up and relax.
  • • Note: Sometimes, Atal Tunnel can be closed due to heavy snowfall by the order of local government, in that case we’ll follow a alternate itinerary for the day.
Day 3
Road Trip from Manali to Tirthan Valley, and Exploring Jibhi
    • We'll start the day with a hearty breakfast meal.
  • • Soon after breakfast, we'll pack up and check out from our accommodation.
  • • Moving forward, we'll head out for a wonderful road trip experience from Manali to Jibhi (Tirthan Valley), which is approximately 04 hours away.
  • • Upon reaching our destination, we'll check into our accommodation, freshen up, and relax.
  • • The rest of the day is for leisure and relaxation. You're recommended to visit the local market, try local cuisine, hop to cafes, and do activities of your choice. If you have more time on your hand, then a short hike to the Jibhi Waterfall would make up for a lovely evening.
  • • When you've explored enough for the day, come back to your accommodation and freshen up.
  • • Soon afterward, we'll end the day by tugging ourselves into bed in our accommodation at Jibhi (Tirthan Valley).
Day 4
Jalori Pass and Drop at Aut Tunnel, End of The Tour
    • An early breakfast will be served in the morning, and you're advised to pack your belongings as we'll be leaving soon.
  • • After our meal, we'll check-out from our accommodation and head to one of the most prominent sightseeing locations in Tirthan Valley, Jalori Pass, which is at a height of 3120 meters.
  • • Soon afterwards, we’ll drop you off at the Aut Tunnel Volvo Stand, and you'll head back to your hometown with a bag full of sweet memories to cherish.
  • • This will mark the end of the tour.

A detailed list of everything that you get with the tour package.

  • Private Car A private vehicle will be present throughout your journey, starting from the pickup on day 01 to dropping you off on the last day of the tour.
  • Accommodation 02 nights in a hotel at Manali & 01 night Wooden Cottage or Hotel in Jibhi on double sharing basis.
  • Breakfast Breakfast will be included on all days, starting from serving the meal on day 02 till the last day of the tour.
  • Solang and Sissu Tour (Seasonal) In case the road leading upto Atal Tunnel, Solang and Sissu Valley is closed due to unforeseen circumstances; we’ll switch it with alternate itinerary.
  • Permits All inner line permits (ILP) are covered for Indian nationals excluding permit for Rohtang Pass, which can be obtained seperately.
  • Supplementary Charges All toll, parking, driver allowances, and night charges are covered in the cost of the package.
  • Specials Local food tasting will be arranged during Manali Local Sightseeing & Offbeat Village Tour - Tirthan Valley is included with the tour.

Exclusions

A detailed list of everything that you don't get with the tour package.

  • Activities Activities such as adventure sports at Solang, paragliding, water rafting and other that are not exclusively mentioned in the inclusions are not included in the package.
  • Lunch and Dinner Lunch And dinner are not covered due to the unpredictability of timing and location during lunch and Dinner hours.
  • Tour Guide This tour does not require to be headed by a tour guide or captain. Hence, it's not included in the package.
  • Flight/Bus Tickets Travel & Insurance Flight/bus tickets, and Travel Insurance are not included and can be booked separately upon request from the individuals.
  • Calamity Expenses Any expense arising from an act of god, natural calamity, or emergency is not accounted for in this package and would have to be paid separately.
  • Tipping and Personal Expenses Sand and Peaks will not cover anything that comes under the category of personal expenses including tips provided by your side for exceptional service or experience promised to any individual.
  • GST and Service Charge GST (5%) and Service Charge for Online Payment Portal, Razorpay (2.5%) are not included in the price.

How to Travel to Himachal From Delhi, Mumbai, or Bangalore?
    The best way to travel to (and inside the vicinity of) Himachal would be via the bus route, as the bus network is vast and well-connected. Moreover, it is comparatively cheaper as well.

What Is The Network Connectivity Status In Himachal Pradesh?
    The network connectivity is fairly good in Himachal Pradesh, but it is recommended that you carry sim cards from different ISPs, including but not limited to Jio, Airtel, and VI.
  • Generally, Jio and Airtel work best, but in some areas, the network from one operator may need to improve. But on average, you won't be able to differentiate between the internet speed of a metropolitan and Himachal Pradesh.
  • The network coverage will be limited if you're trekking or heading towards a remote area. In these cases, sending messages and finishing all possible network-related activities before hitting the no-network zones is advised.
Which One Is Better; Himachal or Uttarakhand?
    These two are incomparable as they differ upon various factors.
  • Generally speaking, the mountain ranges in Himachal are higher than Uttarakhand and are preferred by the young adventure-seeking generation. At the same time, Uttarakhand is the hub for religious tourism, treks, Chardham yatra and whatnot.

What To Pack?

    •Woollen Clothes: Jackets, Sweaters, Warm Pants, Gloves, Woollen Caps, and inners are to be carried as it's generally cold in Kashmir.
  • •Trekking Shoes: They are Preferred as they work during all seasons and on most terrains. It is advisable not to carry sports shoes as they have loose grip and would create difficulties walking through regions of snow or less friction.
  • •Undergarments: The number of undergarments and pairs of socks carried should be equal to the days of the tour.
  • •Medications: Prescribed Medications, Diamox For AMS, Vicks Inhaler, Volini Spray For Sprains, Antacids Like Eno, and anything else you find helpful during the tour.
  • •Raincoat: Pack it if you already have it; there's no need to buy one for this tour exclusively.
  • •Daypack: A small 20-liter backpack for carrying personal items during the day journeys to sightseeing places.
  • •Toiletries: Brush, Toothpaste, Tongue Cleaner, Moisturiser, Cold Cream, Lip Balm, Hand Sanitizer, Sun Screen Lotion, and anything else you have in your list of essentials.
  • •Steel Flask or Water Bottle: Keep a water bottle with you to avoid purchasing packaged water, which adds to the plastic waste after being disposed of.
  • •Garbage Pouches: Carry Garbage Pouches at all times with you to avoid littering the surroundings.

  • •You’ll need to make the full payment in under 07 days of tour confirmation.
  • •If you’re booking an international tour or your date of departure is in the next 07 days, you’ll need to pay the full amount on an immediate basis.
  • •Full refund (subtracting the service charge of 2.5% ) will be provided for the booking amount in case of cancellation within 24 hours of confirmation of booking.

Cancellation Policy

    •Suppose the customer cancels the tour with more than 30 days remaining on the departure date and has paid the whole amount for the tour. In that case, the total amount of the tour will be refunded after making a deduction of 10% from the total sum disbursed, including GST.
  • •Suppose the customer cancels the tour with 30 days to 15 days remaining on the departure date and has paid the whole amount for the tour. In that case, the total amount of the tour will be refunded after making a deduction of 25% from the total sum disbursed, including GST.
  • •Suppose the customer cancels the tour with 14 days to 07 days remaining on the departure date and has paid the whole amount for the tour. In that case, the total amount of the tour will be refunded after making a deduction of 60% from the total sum disbursed, including GST.
  • •Suppose the customer cancels the tour with 07 days remaining on the departure date and has paid the whole amount for the tour. There will be no refunds generated.
  • •If the customer has only paid the booking amount and there's a remaining payment on their part, the final booking will be on hold. Under these circumstances, Sand and Peaks reserve the right to cancel the booking without generating any refunds if the customer fails to pay the total amount.
  • •If the tour is canceled for any reason, there's no fault of the client. In that case, Sand and Peaks will be liable to pay back the total amount, which the client has disbursed till the date of cancellation.
  • •No refunds will be generated if the customer fails to show up or arrives at the departure point at the scheduled date and time.

Required Documents

    •You are requested to keep your Aadhaar Card (All Individuals) for identification purposes at various places such as airports, hotel check-ins, and more.
  • •Covid Vaccinations certificates are not necessary for entering Kashmir, but you should still have them in your possession in case the need arises.
  • •Essential documents such as passports, Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Wallets, Flight Tickets, and any other key documents should be kept in close proximity and not be left in hotel rooms or anywhere else at all times throughout the tour.
