The following terms and conditions apply while booking any package from 'Sand and Peaks.' In order to book a tour package, a monetary deposit has to be made in the name of Sand and Peaks, which will be treated as token money/Booking amount. Until the booking amount is not credited to our designated account, we won't confirm your booking.
The booking amount is a non-refundable sum. But due to goodwill in doing business, we instate a particular clause under which you'll be able to ask for a refund and get back the value of your booking amount. To know more, check the more refer to section 03 of the same document. To complete the booking, the remaining amount (which is a total of the actual amount for the tour subtracted by the already deposited booking amount) has to be deposited in the name of Sand and Peaks.
If you fail to deposit the total amount before under the designated time frame as mentioned in the payment policy (Given Under Section 02), Sand and Peaks hold the right to terminate your booking and hold the non-refundable booking amount in full.

Once a booking has been placed, it can be canceled under a few terms mentioned in section 03 of the same document.
Section 02: Payment Policy
This section holds payment-related information, which is as follows:
All the payments have to be made under the name of Sand and Peaks and on their official payment accounts. The details of the same are given in section 05 of the same document. The final amount will include a GST of 5% as instated by The Central Government of India. We cannot waive off GST under any condition.
The booking amount is a fixed sum, which comes to be 40% of the total tour cost. Without the booking amount, we cannot confirm your booking for the selected tour package.
To book a customized tour package/FIT Tour, the customer has to pay a booking amount of 50% in advance.
The remaining payment has to be deposited between finalizing the booking to 7 days before the tour.
In case you're booking a tour with less than 07 days remaining on the departure date, the provision of the booking amount is ignored, and only full payment is accepted.
Section 03: Cancellation and Refunds Policy
The cancellations are governed by the terms and conditions given in this document.
If the customer cancels the tour with more than 30 days remaining on the departure date and has paid the whole amount for the tour. The total amount of the tour will be refunded after making a deduction of 10% from the total sum of the tour, including GST.
If the customer cancels the tour with 30 days to 15 days remaining on the departure date and has paid the whole amount for the tour. The total amount of the tour will be refunded after making a deduction of 25% from the total sum of the tour, including GST.
If the customer cancels the tour with 15 days to 07 days remaining on the departure date and has paid the whole amount for the tour. The total amount of the tour will be refunded after making a deduction of 60% from the total sum of the tour, including GST.
If the customer cancels the tour with 07 days remaining on the departure date and has paid the whole amount for the tour. There will be no refunds generated.
If the customer cancels the tour with more than 30 days remaining on the departure date and has paid the booking amount for the tour. The booking amount of the tour will be refunded after making a deduction of 10% from the total sum of the tour, including GST.
If the customer cancels the tour with 30 days to 15 days remaining on the departure date and has paid the booking amount for the tour. The booking amount of the tour will be refunded after making a deduction of 25% from the total sum of the tour, including GST.
If the customer cancels the tour with 15 days to 07 days remaining on the departure date and has paid the booking amount for the tour. The booking amount of the tour will be refunded after making a deduction of 60% from the total sum of the tour, including GST.
If the customer cancels the tour with 07 days remaining on the departure date and has paid the booking amount for the tour. There will be no refunds generated.
If the customer has only paid the booking amount, and there's a remaining payment on their part, the final booking will be on hold. Under these circumstances, Sand and Peaks reserve the right to cancel the booking without generating any refunds if the customer fails to pay the total amount after 07 attempts of initiating the conversation regarding the same.
If the customer cancels the tour, then the booking amount becomes a non-refundable sum. No refunds will be generated if the customer fails to show up or arrives at the departure point at the scheduled date and time.
